”As a parent, I love sending my kids to Living Water VBS every year. They value children, and that includes letting kids be kids: having fun, and being themselves. I've never had my children visit a church where they were SO LOVED and KNOWN for who they are. The Living Water community celebrates kids and teaches them about God in fun and engaging ways!

Our Story

At Living Water CRC, we are a loving cross-cultural community, called to glorify God and raise disciples who actively live the Gospel in the world.

Our desire is that every child feels as amazing and special as they are!
They are made in the Image of God, and they are so loved. Vacation Bible School is a chance to welcome all children to God’s house. Some ways we do this is by welcoming students from a variety of school contexts (public, private, and homeschool), students from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds, and students with a variety of abilities and accommodations.

Welcome Home, Child of God!

Meet Adorabilis the octopus! We call her Dora, and we will be following her journey learning about God’s love for us, told with a biblical basis in the parable of the Prodigal Son.

Come to Living Water where all children are included in God’s great big house. We are all God’s children, and God is welcoming us through Jesus’ work on the cross! So we welcome you to Living Water’s 2023 VBS. After all of our learning, crafts, and games, we will have a great big multicultural meal and a water activity on Saturday.

Schedule

Dates: June 14-17 (Wednesday to Saturday)

Time:   6:00 – 8:00 pm (Wednesday – Friday)
On Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm with a big multi-cultural family lunch & pool party!


Our schedule is unique to accommodate working parents/volunteers.

Recommended Ages:  Preschool to 5th grade (4-11 yrs old)
* Nursery care is available for younger children.
* There is a low-sensory onboarding option each day for kids who would like a quiet start, as an alternative to songs and dance.

$10 per child donation is appreciated to cover for our big lunch & Pool outing on Saturday!

Pool Party
Information

New this year is our pool party!

Location:  Wealthy Pool in East Grand Rapids
Time: 12:30 – 2:30 pm

  • Wealthy Pool is a warm water pool and they keep their temps between 86-87 degrees. 
  • Parking is super easy and located on the NW side of Wealthy Elementary School. 
  • There will be two lifeguards on duty.
  • They have family locker rooms as well as separate Womens and Mens locker rooms that include showers and suit drying machines. 
  • There is also an observation room if you’d rather sit outside of the closed in pool space off to the side. i.e. if you have a toddler with you who you’d rather not walk into the pool like their sibling swims.
