FAITH FORMATION FOR ALL CHILDREN

Our mission is to teach and lead children to worship, and to raise them to become fellow disciples of Jesus Christ.

Children

Children in sixth grade or lower are welcome to join our children’s worship service on Sundays. Our children’s worship service starts at 10:00 a.m., and we have a full worship service!

We welcome parents and visitors to come join our children’s worship at any time.

Our Heart

for Worship

Psalm 100

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Service Order

Welcome & Greeting

Our teachers will welcome and greet each child. No child will get lost in the crowd.

Opening Prayer

We always start our worship with prayer.

Praise

We love to praise! Our ministry loves to dance and sing! There will be dance motions for most of the music, and we want to teach our children to praise with all of our might!

Lord’s Prayer

Our teacher will pray for our children and for our worship, and then lead everyone in the Lord’s Prayer. Our children will learn to recite the Lord’s Prayer through repetition.

Bible Message

We are passionate about the Word of God! We  read directly from the Bible, and learn about God’s story. We always put the focus on what Jesus has done for us, not what we need to do for him.

Benediction

We sing the same benediction song as the rest of the church. We hold hands and include the youngest infants to the oldest teachers.

Small Groups

After worship, we break into smaller groups based on age to further reinforce the message we heard. Younger children do crafts or simple activities related to the message, while older children participate in a group discussion to engage more deeply in the message.
